Loved everything about this storyline...So many surprises . Adam and Maya are well suited to one another,although I was a little concerned with Luca,and I think Sean was a little in love with her also..but all is good,and Cammie is a bonus ! Love ALL of your books !!
I enjoyed this book and was able to get hooked from the very first. I'm the type that doesn't like all the deep descriptions in a book and this author puts in just enough to get you in a frame of mind with the characters. I prefer more interaction with the characters to keep me interested, and that's just what this author does.
Enjoyed the way the author wove the characters and story together. Written well. Only three stars because I’m not into the explicit sexual descriptions. If you do you might enjoy this one more then I did.
1st time reading this author... won't be the last! I really enjoyed this somewhat original story and characters! I like the action packed world building. It was steamy and unpredictable! There were a few holes in the story...ie mention of Adam's wealth (sent the girl in a limo) but then they are running around in stolen vehicles and staying in flea bag hotels. Looking forward to more books by this author, maybe a Lucas story!!
If you enjoy woman with kickass paranormal ability. This is the novel to pickup and read. The storyline of the novel leaves you with a cliffhanger ending. However, it's worthy of a series in the making with a vamp and a dragon in the mix. Maya and Adam are developing into a wicked partnership. There crime fighting paranormal and romantic interludes make them a couple. Now if Cynthia can write some humor into this series . . . I could be a happy camper.
I really liked this bookstore a bit, I hope there are more stories about these two. The writing was pretty goog, loved the chemistry between the two of them and there wasn't too much sex in the book, just about right. I really don't like it when every other page is a detailed sex scene. If that's what I wanted I'd buy a porn book lol. So yea pretty exciting and some hot moments and lots of monsters mixed in there, even one I have never read about before. worth the read If you like vamp romance.
I feel like all my reviews of books by Cynthia Eden are basically the same READ THIS BOOK! She has a way of creating the most fascinating worlds and the characters that inhabit them are always interesting. The stories are passionate and intense and always make me want to keep reading. This one, an older release, features Eden’s signature kickass heroines and heroes once again fighting the good fight to banish evil and find love along the way. The characters here, Maya and Adam, are in a race to find an abducted child, Adam’s niece and ward. Maya is wary of everyone and Adam is hiding his true identity. Together they search for his niece and find a (literally in Adam’s case) smoking connection between each other. Definitely recommended.
